The WPI Framework:
Understanding Physical Wellness.
Wellness is more than a single number, a workout routine, or a healthy meal. The Wellness Performance Index (WPI) gives you a practical way to understand these behaviors as connected parts of your overall journey.
Evidence-Based
Holistic Approach
Rather than asking: "Am I healthy?", the framework encourages you to ask: "What am I doing consistently to support my health, and where can I improve?" The WPI should be viewed as a wellness-performance framework, not as a medical diagnosis.
What Is the WPI Framework?
WPI stands for Wellness Performance Index. It organizes wellness behaviors into a connected journey that users can understand, measure, and improve.
The Framework Helps You:
- Understand your current wellness behaviors
- Identify areas of strength
- Identify areas that need attention
- Set realistic goals
- Track progress
- Recognize changes over time
- Build sustainable habits
Think in Patterns
One day does not define your wellness. Instead of judging one stressful or inactive day, look at the overall pattern. Ask: What is happening consistently? That is where meaningful change can occur.
The BrightPath Wellness Model (9 Pillars)

Your WPI Action Card
After completing the self-check, don't try to improve everything simultaneously. Keep the process manageable.
The WPI Journey
The WPI Framework gives you a structured way to understand your wellness behaviors and turn that understanding into action. You don't have to change everything today. Start with one area, one behavior, and one realistic goal.
